The REUL ring is part of the Terre collection, inspired by my origins, New Caledonia, a small French island located in the Pacific. Each piece is a translation of New Caledonia's culture, spirituality and imagery. It embodies through a small piece of jewelry my island's core values, such as generosity, faith, groundedness and more.
The ring band is made of a combination of flat and round wire with a square red garnet stone (3x3mm) set in its center. This delicate assemblage evolves around the idea of grounding, origins and beliefs. REUL is inspired by the memory of the flamboyant trees of New Caledonia. Those trees blossom in bright red. We say they announce summer and the end of schools. Therefore the gem represents the joy and warmth of the summer. REUL means "intensely burning" in Kanak dialect (New Caledonia).
Every Naula's piece is handmade in a goldsmith workshop in the Netherlands. Items are made-to-order and, as such, they may take up to three weeks to produce. It just means that your piece is unique. If you're in a rush or would like another particular stone paired with this design, just shoot through an email, and we'll see what we can do.
